Character studies from *surprise* the novel I'm working on. Some really sketchy stuff I drew at work and then colored in two sittings. Bah! I have never shaded as sloppily as I did with this...

I tried to draw them as they would look while at work. Of course when you have a spy, a soldier, an assassin, an engineer and a tactician that can require a bit of imagination. Just the time spent on thinking up all the components to Bloods armor... kind of shows how much attention I pay to my job.

I don't think the shading is shoddy at all. Perhaps a little on the skin and faces, but for example the folds in the baggy pants are just gorgeous. There are so many neat details like the "ropes" of hair on the woman to the right.

Ahaha, the spy looks like an innocent lil' kid, just perfect for the job. And yes, I'm sorry... I know I should know the names, but I only remember Daemon and Blood. Sorry! *takes cover*
